WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Responsible for the external and technical condition of the assigned machines and materials.
  • Responsible for preparing the crane for operations, extending outriggers, assembling/dismantling ballast, reeving cables and connecting safety systems in strict compliance with manufacturer instructions and Company policy.
  • Responsible for the correct use of crane operation, including driving it to and from site on public highways.
  • Comply with and implementing all safety rules in accordance with equipment and customer requirements.
  • Follow instructions given by the Supervisor, ensuring each lifting operation is planned and carried out in a safe manner.
  • Clean up any leeks or spillages and disposal of chemical waste at an approved site.
  • Report all accidents, incidents and near misses to the line manager.
  • Understand client safety rules upon arrival at a new job site.
  • Refuse activities which would breach safety rules and legislation.
  • Care, maintenance and proper use of personally assigned protection equipment.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled tool box meetings.
  • Assist in depot yards, loading and unloading operations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Valid Blue CPCS card with the relevant categories.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of operating 200te cranes.
  • Valid UK driving licence including category C1E.
  • Willingness to work away from home for extended periods of time.
