Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

£40,000 to £45,000

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer within their respective field in Bedford.

Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running.

You will be involved in all aspects design, development and implementation within their operation.

With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported bya welcoming team of engineers.

The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.


Role Description:

  • Develop and improve existing products and technology
  • Write up specs and technical reports
  • Development of hardware and firmware for new products
  • Building and testing prototypes
  • Adhering To All Health & Safety On Site

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in electronics engineering
  • HNC/HND will be considered also
  • 1 year+ industrial experience in electronics design
  • PCB layout experience
  • HTML programming
  • Programming PIC"s using MPLAB
