Description

An award-winning main contractor based in Central Scotland is looking to recruit an Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

With a long-term standing in the Scottish construction market, they have established an expert team and a strong portfolioof quality work in the public, commercial and residential building sectors.

Applications are welcome from both experienced Estimators and junior-level Estimators/Quantity Surveyors who are looking to develop their skills in a supportive working environment.

As Estimator, you will play a critical role in bolstering their estimating capability and aiding the delivery of well-considered, competitive bids.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Contributing to the production of high-quality and cost-effective tenders and building cost estimates from first principles.
Liaising with commercial, preconstruction and delivery teams.
Ensuring competitive bids are delivered in line with the company's strategic aims and values.

You will be a firm part of the longer-term business succession strategy and be compensated with a competitive salary, of up to £45,000, depending on level of experience.
