Position Summary

We have a fantastic
12 Month Fixed Term opportunity for a talented, driven individual to join our team as a Raw Material Controller to deliver stock accuracy in line with business expectations, ensuring all stock movements are documented and conform to the expected auditable standards, to ensure production is never hindered due to availability of raw materials and to execute inventory control measures to ensure mínimal stock holding.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Maintain accuracy of the on site Kanban and WIP locations both physically and on Sage

Ensure all incoming products into the warehouse from suppliers or the factory are controlled (labelled & packaged).

Supply/Pick Raw Materials accurately against works orders issued by planning.

Collaborate with the Warehouse Performance Manager, Stock Controller & Transport Planner to ensure the Warehouse department meets its targets in stock accuracy, quality control and efficient loading operations.

Maintain cleanliness and 5's in WIP and Raw Material areas

What Will Make You Successful
Have an understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and ERP- Sage 200 is preferred

Experience of lean manufacture, kanban and kaizen continuous improvement or similar production tools within a low volume, high quality manufacturing facility would be an advantage.

Able to build relationships with all managers and employees and provide guidance and direction.

Is self-motivated, consistently applies energy and enthusiasm to the job.

Able to work off own initiative.

Applies sound judgment and able to make decisions.

Can plan resources and priorities.

Applies a "can do" attitude and challenges and supports the team to do the same.

What's on offer
The salary for this role is circa £25,000.

In addition, you will be part of the Company's discretionary annual bonus scheme, which is up to 5% of your basic annual salary.
