The successful candidate will engage with mental health patients in a 15-bed unit, supporting their daily needs and contributing to a safe therapeutic environment to aid recovery.

Main duties of the job:

  • Effective Communication and Support
  • Assist patients with room tidiness and personal care
  • Manage laundry supplies and patient information efficiently
  • Encourage patient engagement in ward activities
  • Provide shopping support and maintain orderly property cupboards
  • Follow Health and Safety protocols and participate in necessary audits
  • Handle patient admissions and property clerking responsibly
  • Attend required training and adhere to policies and procedures
