We are Hancocks Cash & Carry; part of the World of Sweets Group. Hancocks are the country's leading trade only cash & carry.

With 14 stores dotted around the UK, we sell thousands of sweet related products and have been in the marketplace for over 60 years.

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a great shopping experience.

We are looking to expand our team of colleagues in our Bradford store (BD4 6SG) and currently have a vacancy for a full-time, permanent Store Supervisor.

We are looking for a personable, proactive and enthusiastic individual who is looking for the next step in their career.

Could you be the person we are looking for?

Hours of Work/Shift Pattern:

This is a full-time position, 42.5 hours per week to include one late evening (Thursday to 8.00pm) and alternate Sunday mornings 9.00am-1.00pm.

So what can you expect to be doing in this role?

Supporting the Store Manager in the daytoday operation of the Store, ensuring it is safe, well presented, clean and organised at all times.
Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining regular and effective communication with the team.
Supporting a sales/customer focused environment.
Assisting in all aspects of stock management.
Maintaining Health and Safety standards promoting a safe working environment.
Acting as a key holder with responsibility for opening and closing the Store.

What experience/attributes are we looking for?

Some experience in the retail/wholesale sectors.
The ability to manage demanding situations and to meet deadlines.
The ability to work independently on your own initiative with mínimal supervision.
The ability to work as part of a team and respond flexibly to change.
To be selfmotivated, outgoing, energetic and confident.
The ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels.
To provide professional leadership, encompassing all aspects of people management and development.
