Job description

The vision of Leeds Business School (LBS) is to be an excellent, accessible, innovative and engaged Business School which contributes substantially to the regional economy.

You will have significant and recent experience in the industry and will demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality teaching across our journalism modules.

You will have excellent story-telling and editorial skills across a range of media. You will also have experience in designing and delivering BJTC standard Newsdays. We are looking for strong video and TV skills in addition to digital/online skills or other journalism skills. Up-to-date knowledge of cross-platform newsrooms and delivery would be an advantage.

As a member of our School you would be expected to undertake a number of activities including research, teaching across a range of levels and contexts from first year undergraduate to Masters students, supervision of projects and/or dissertations and, potentially, also bespoke in-company delivery.

Working here means you'll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.
