Synergy Hire is a plant hire company, who are also part of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group, and operate within the construction industry.

Currently this market is very healthy and continuously growing, thanks to the Government pushing mass construction over the coming years.


Overview
We are looking for a Hire Desk Administrator to support our Southampton depot. Experience of the hire industry is preferable.


Responsibilities


You'll be responsible for the day-to-day on and off hires as well as supporting the trainee depot manager with any administrative duties.

You may also be required to support head office with other duties as required.

We expect you to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with all types of customers and colleagues.


Requirements:


  • Willingness to learn in busy office environment.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Politeness while communicating with customers and colleagues.
  • Good knowledge of IT packages with data input accuracy a must.
  • An interest in the construction sector.
  • Good levels of numeracy.
  • Good personal and working ethics.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Organised with the ability to forward plan.
This job posting is for a vacancy in our Southampton depot. Hours are 7.30am - 5.00pm
