Loan and Senior Loan Associates

Salary:
DOE £50,000 - £85,000

Based:
London, Hybrid


LHH are pleased to be working with a Top Tier Bank who are looking to add loan associates and senior loan associates to their Commercial Banking team.

The role holder will be responsible for providing end-to-end deal execution from loan origination to closing, supporting small to large corporates.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Oversight and responsibility for the lending life cycle, which includes loan documentation, client onboarding, client servicing, quality control, and loan closing across the portfolios.
  • Review and understand loan documentation from operational perspective, including interpreting credit agreements and Client Due Diligence.
  • Provide solution to client through internal partnership with bank's facility agent and loan syndication team.
  • Life cycle management across commercial lending, including syndicated and bilateral loans, and structured lending.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams including credit risk, operations, and legal.

Your experience should include:


  • Experience with constructing bilateral and syndicated deal structure or experience in wholesale or commercial lending, including syndicated loan products.
  • Understanding of legal loan documentation, funding mechanics, deal structure, and funds flows.
  • In depth understanding of banking operational processes.
  • Ability to build both internal and external business relationships.
  • Prioritise tasks in a fastpaced working environment.
  • Effective and professional communication with high accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Loan IQ.
