Housekeeper - Fixed term until 31st
August 2023

30 hours per week, all year round**
Scale 1, Points - 3: £20,258 - £20,812 pro rata, Actual salary £16, £16,874.59

The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper. This is a part time, 30 hour per week, fixed term contract until 31st August 2023.

The hours can be either 7.30 am to 1.30 pm or 12.30 to 6.30pm. A half hour break can be included if required and discussed at interview.


Previous experience in a school environment is not essential but a commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are.

Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning would be an advantage but is not necessary.


We will train you in the specific aspects of the job you just need to bring a willingness to learn and have a friendly and approachable manner.

Finally, you must be a good communicator, like working around young people and always willing to help your team when the unexpected happens.
