Reed Education are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to work on a part time basis at a local Shroshire based Primary School

The primary school based in the heart of Shropshire pride themselves providing an environment where their pupils are confident, happy, aspirational and always trying their best whilst holding an outstanding Ofsted inspection


We are looking for people with a passion for education and helping to create a safe and welcoming environment at the school.

The hours are generally pm, Monday-Friday.

This role is ideal for someone who is retired or has a flexible working or parentsand part time workers/graduates wishing to gain experience within a school setting.


Duties would normally include the following: -

  • Supervising activities in the playground, and indoors in bad weather.
  • Control of the dinner queue.
  • Supervising students eating meals.
  • Ensuring crockery, cutlery, trays and leftovers are returned by students to relevant collection and disposal points.
  • Ensuring appropriate behaviour of students in accordance with the E L F E D Motivation and Behaviour Policy
  • Encouraging students out of school buildings when they should be outside.
  • Referring incidents to Senior Staff
  • Any other relevant duties as directed by the senior members of staff or Headteacher.

To be considered for this role you would need to have:

  • Two references with your relevant experience within the last 2 years
