Field Service Engineer - Rotherham - UK Wide

28-29k + 3.5k Bonus 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays Pension andwork van (can be used for personal use 5 seater), extensive training, flexible work hours.

This specialist materialographic solutions and services provider are now looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join their small and knowledgeable team in Rotherham.

The role will require travel throughout the UK with early starts and an early finish with the occasional overnight stay.

As a Field Service Engineer your role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • To service and repair company equipment to the agreed standards across the UK.
  • To have an autonomous and proactive attitude to work with a high level of faultfinding expertise.
  • To provide technical assistance and support to customers as and when required.
  • To assist in any new product development and modification from the Head Office in Ballerup, Denmark.
  • To input data and produce field service reports in the company CRM system.
  • To liaise with the Sales department on customer related issues.
  • Educated to ONC/HNC level in electrical/electronic/mechanical disciplines (ideally).
  • Multidisciplined engineer with experience of Field Service.
  • Solid mechanical skills
  • Computer literate ideally with knowledge of database systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
