Bournemouth University is currently seeking two new members to join our Board and help us further our vision of inspiring learning, advancing knowledge, and enriching society through the fusion of education, research, and practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University as we work towards the delivery of our strategy, BU2025, and begin work on our next strategic plan to take us beyond 2030.

Our Board Members make vital contributions to BU. Their professional expertise and personal commitment to our success is a hugely important part of the University community.

We are looking for two exceptional individuals to join our Board.

This is an exciting opportunity for people who have a strong interest in and commitment to higher education and the values, aims and objectives of BU.

Further Education and Higher Education in Further Education (including the regulatory environment, emerging trends and apprenticeships); or

Higher Education regulatory experience, particularly as it relates to research and research funding, gained either from Higher Education or another relevant sector.

Community is important to us at BU and it is essential that we attract applicants from diverse backgrounds and with a range of experiences, so that our governance structure reflects our varied community of students, staff and other stakeholders.
