The Opportunity
You will use your expertise to coordinate teams of library staff, dealing with often challenging queries from the public and ensuring libraries run smoothly.
Alongside this, you will have the support from your Library Manager and other senior library staff to plan and deliver the service.
You will co-ordinate medium sized projects using analytical and creative skills to create effective solutions and strategies, for example organising training for staff or volunteers.
About You
This is a role that requires someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to communicate on several different levels with multiple stakeholders and adapting your style accordingly.
You will be a team player who can foster and nurture positive working relationships. Alongside this, you will be organised and can prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
You will have a customer focussed approach, have strong digital skills and a passion for delivering a library policies and practices.
