We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Money Matters Caseworker in the Money Matters Team.

About the role

As a Karbon Homes Money Matters Caseworker, you will ensure that customers of Karbon Homes have the expert advice and guidance they need to navigate their way around the sometimes complex and ever-changing welfare benefits and money advice landscape.

About you

You will be a skilled caseworker with a proven track record in identifying missing benefit entitlements, spotting where mistakes have been made and using the law to challenge decisions.

You'll be experienced at successfully representing customers at tribunal level.

You'll be adept at working remotely and working in partnership with customers and third parties to get the results we need.

You'll be brilliant at managing your caseload and keeping accurate records, and be flexible, adaptable, and positive under pressure.

You'll be a trusted expert, helping customers to find ways to save money, reduce outgoings and feel more in control of their household budgets.

If customers find themselves in crisis, you'll help to alleviate this, and through money guidance and advice you'll help customers to avoid future financial pressure.

Money Matters Caseworker permanent role
Salary is £32,121 per annum
Location to be agreed; your contractual base will be in either York or Leeds
37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
