We are recruiting for Integrity Management Surveyors to provide an accurate, timely, efficient and effective hose inspection service to our customers at their offshore and onshore facilities.


Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

  • Previous 'handson' experience of mechanical or hydraulic engineering
  • Working within a service industry with a keen focus on, and compliance with, QHSE policies
  • SNVQ/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Previous experience of working within an environment that requires strict adherence to processes and procedures
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels
  • Ability to build proactive relationships with key interfaces
  • Ability to interact as an effective team member
  • Competent in the use of computer systems, in particular Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible, "can do" approach to their work
  • Ability to plan and organise their workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • A motivated individual who is able to use their initiative
  • Demonstrable awareness of QHSE procedures
  • Able to demonstrate strong customer focus

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

  • ONC/HNC/HND Engineering discipline
  • Mechanical Engineering or Inspection Qualification
  • Carrying out or participating in NDE activities
  • Experience of Hose Inspection
  • Experience of flexible hose assemblies, threads and fittings
  • Previous experience of working in an offshore environment

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Operationally

  • Visually inspect customer's Small Bore Tubing (SBT), Flexible Hose Assemblies (FHA) and fittings, onsite, in line with the Company's inspection procedures.
  • Inspect and record condition, type and fittings, in line with procedures.
  • Complete all documentation on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Input survey results into the HIMS database.
  • Submit a report with details of unsatisfactory SBT/FHA to the customer's representative and recommend possible solutions, where applicable.
  • Write and submit a Draft End of Survey report.
  • Ensure the accurate completion and submission of timesheets.

HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality)

  • Ensure that work is completed in line with the Company's Quality procedures and Customer specifications.
  • Ensure that work activities are executed in accordance with the Company's HSE Management System and, when onsite or offshore, in accordance with the customer's site rules
  • Participate and assist with internal and external safety and quality audits
  • Adopt and promote good and safe working practices at all times
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained clean and hazard free and in accordance with Company and customer rules at all times
  • Ensure that risks are assessed and risk assessments completed, where applicable

Continuous Improvement/Personal Development

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the operations team and key interfaces within other departments.
  • Responsible for supporting and achieving the Organisation and department's targets and objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding, agreeing and achieving personal objectives set by line manager.
  • Put forward any suggestions for improvements.
  • Attend formal Information Briefings, when requested.
  • Be a team member and actively promote communication and information sharing.
