Summary

A flexible approach to work is very important due to the nature of the role. The ability to be able to prioritise work is essential.

You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the school and will undertake duties in accordance with the attached job description.

Compliance with data protection is essential.

The hours will be 8:30 to 12:30 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 8:30 to 3:30 less 30 minute lunchbreak (Tuesday and Friday) daily however there is a need for some flexibility due to the nature of the role.

Holidays will not be allowed during term time.

Essential Qualifications

  • Please refer to the attached person specification.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
Desirable Qualifications
- level 2 or level 3 in Business Administration<

  • First aid qualification or willingness to undertake training is desired

Essential Experience

  • Ability to liaise effectively with all professionals and visitors
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to relate well to children, parents/carers
  • Confidentiality and understanding of safeguarding
  • Understanding of health and safety
  • A good attendance record is essential.
