Description

_We are actively seeking a passionate and motivated individuals to develop, promote and deliver this unique service as a Housing Support Worker._


This role is part of Young People's Housing Related Support Service, Our Way Leeds (OWL), delivered by a consortium of service providers - GIPSIL, Foundation & Turning Lives Around.

OWL provides a wide range of interventions to prevent homelessness, for young people & young people leaving care including unaccompanied asylum seeker children between the ages of


As a member of the team, you will make a real difference to the lives of young people who come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges.

Your caseload will consist of clients who live in our dispersed properties in Leeds, and you will also provide Visiting Support for clients who are inappropriately housed or who require support in their own tenancies.

We are proudly and actively anti-racist and as such you are expected to drive the agenda forward.

  • Support service users by identifying need and risk and plan for positive goals and outcomes.
  • Are able to provide a respectful and supportive attitude to service users
  • Can identify quick and safe resolutions for service users.
