They must be able to work with mínimal supervision, using their initiative and have the ability to prioritise their working day.

Good organisational skills are essential as this is a key supportive role within a very busy team.


The post holder will be dealing with incoming calls from wards to the inpatient nursing and podiatry team for patients to be reviewed.

You will be working with the team to triage and ensure patients are seen within target, so a good attention to detail is essential.

Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook are also essential to enable the accurate data collection.


You will be a key part of the team and will attend team meetings including minute taking and ensuring supporting papers are circulated.

Good IT skills are also required as you will update departmental SOP's and the Trust web pages using specific software.

Training will be provided


The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

To provide Administrative and Secretarial support to the Diabetes Specialist Nursing Team and Podiatry Team.

The post holder will work closely with the diabetes and podiatry teams and all relevant staff members and will provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative support service.


The post holder will provide daily administrative support and may include the development and implementation of administrative systems which will ensure the efficient and effective running of the Team.

The post holder will also respond to enquiries from other ward staff.
