Our client has continually developed into the company it is today. Gradually, it has transformed into an independent global supplier of complete solutions, in a wide range of industries. The common denominator of the projects carried out today is sustainability and the reduction of our carbon footprint.
They now deal mainly with complex projects related to gas-fired power plants, hydrogen and CO2 capture and storage, as well as process technologies in the food industry.
Due to increased demand in their services a position has become available for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their U.
Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
Essential
- Experience of working in an electrical design position/team
- Experience of electrical system design using recognised software and first principles, working to international standards/codes
- An in depth understanding of hazardous area design according to the requirements the requirements of ATEX, IEC and other hazardous area directives.
- Understanding of the Construction Design and Management regulations
Desirable
- Experience of designing electrical equipment for Gas Turbine Acoustic and Air Filtration systems
- Experience of designing electrical equipment for Renewable Energy systems i.e., Hydrogen, WastetoX etc
- Familiarity with North American electrical codes and standards, NEC, NEMA, UL and CSA
- Familiarity with Russian CU TR Certification (Formerly 'GOST R')
- Experience with Electropneumatic systems
- An aptitude for estimating costs and controlling project budgets.
