What to expect


Thorntons has one of the leading Personal Injury teams in Scotland and we work tirelessly on behalf of clients who have sustained personal injuries ranging from whiplash to highly complex traumatic injuries.

Our team are widely recognised as experts in their field with a number of industry leaders and Accredited Specialists among their ranks.

Our First Response Team sits at the heart of the team and takes initial enquiries from clients across Scotland.

All our agents are all fully trained to assess each case and we are now looking for another First Response Agent to join the team.


In this role, you will:

  • Take full statements from clients over the telephone
  • Capture all information from the call accurately in our case management system.
  • Explain the legal process to clients.
  • Support the Paralegals and Solicitors by obtaining additional information where required
  • Proactively monitor the progress of new enquiries.
  • We will provide full training in this role to ensure that you develop expertise in the personal injury process.

What we're looking for

  • Professional, empathetic and approachable
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • An understanding of the personal injury process would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
