Duty/Responsibility Recovery Focused Skills and Abilities To support and motivate service users to attend and take part in service activities which promote their recovery and independence To support other team members to deliver recovery focused sessions at a variety of venues across Manchester To work in partnership with other professionals/agencies to ensure that service users needs are met.

To assist in the review process to support service users recovery journey To support the monitoring of service users progress and recording processes in clinical records To actively engage with individuals on a one to one basis and in group settings.

To assist in planning, delivering and evaluating programmes and courses with clear wellbeing outcomes Promote recovery by establishing and maintaining therapeutic alliances with individuals or groups of service users Service Development To promote and actively encourage service user and carer engagement to evaluate and enhance service delivery and involvement in the planning and delivery of services Participate in and contribute to, service developments and tasks relating to service evaluation as and when required.

To actively engage in service improvement by reflecting on and developing own practice Health, Safety and Security Safeguard the health and wellbeing of all service users by ensuring that all concerns are reported To ensure a safe environment for service users, colleagues and visitors in accordance with the Trust Health & Safety Policy To take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and other persons To contribute to the control of risk and to report immediately, using the Trust Incident reporting system, any incident, accident or near miss involving patients, service users, carers, staff, contractors or members of the public Equality and Diversity Treat everyone with equal dignity and respect To value, promote, and manage diversity, and to actively encourage equality of opportunity in all areas of ones work To identify and take appropriate action when own or others behaviour undermines equality and diversity Professional Work collaboratively across a range of disciplines To work closely with the Team Occupational Therapist to support the occupational therapy process and focused 1:1 interventions.

To understand the need to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and adhere to all principles in effective safeguarding.

To maintain high standards of quality in corporate and clinical record keeping ensuring information is always recorded accurately, appropriately and kept up to date.

To ensure their day to day activities embrace sustainability and reduce the impact upon the environment by minimising waste and maximising recycling; saving energy; minimising water usage and reporting electrical faults, water leakages or other environmental concerns to the facilities department or their line manager.

Take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and other persons To contribute to the control of risk and to report any incident, accident or near miss To protect service users, visitors and employees against the risk of acquiring health care associated infections.

To take responsibility for your own learning and development by recognising and taking advantage of all opportunities to learn in line with appraisal and supervision.
