*Operations Manager - Leading Children's Movement & Development Gym**Shepherd's Bush, London (W12)

*Up to £35k starting salary with bonus/incentive structure*We are recruiting for a senior management role with one of the world's industry-leading brands in the child fitness sector. This company work with children from 4 months to 12 years old, not only helping them develop their physical literacy, they also help them build key life skills like teamwork, sharing and leadership through movement-based learning and imaginative play.


The Operations Manager must have experience in a similar leadership role overseeing the end-to-end operations of a leisure/recreation venue and have ambitions to develop their own career and have a significant impact on the business.

You will work closely with the company owner to oversee the overall running of the venue, operations, sales, customer experience, planning, and HR/people management, as well as working with central and external support departments and organisations.

You will also become an expert in understanding a tailored program and curriculum based around three dimensional learning - 'Get Moving', 'Brain Boost' and 'Citizen Kid'
- which aim to teach skills to support each child to develop key areas that will support them later in life.

With over 45 years in the industry, this organisation brings a wealth of experience, passion, and knowledge to the children they teach


The role also has the opportunity of 6-10 hours of their weekly schedule to be dedicated to delivering parent and child sessions, which are focused on improving understanding and safety with new parents so some knowledge and experience in teaching/coaching is ideal.

*You will:

  • Have experience managing the operations of a singlevenue site
  • Ideally have experience in gymnastics, or a similar sport such as dance, acrobatics or parkour, and have experience in a management role
  • Share a huge passion for supporting both children and staff and their development
  • Bring a cando attitude to everything you do
  • Have strong communication skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Be flexible with hours evening and weekend work is required

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
