My client a leading law firm are currerntly recrutuing for a really exciting opportunity for a PR & Communications Advisor to join the team.


This is a busy hands on role where there is an abundance of opportunity to grow and develop organically in your career within a well-known and respected firm.


Reporting directly into the PR Manager this role will be responsible for driving PR for one of the firms key divisions, developing and executing media outreach.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify political news, topics and comment opportunities for practice and sector groups
  • Enhance the firm's external reputation through media and external channels
  • Manage significant announcements for particular practices and groups, liaising with local marketing colleagues as relevant, including deal announcements and lateral hires
  • Working to increase the firm's reputation as the goto firm for key legal and commercial issues
  • Proactively target news opportunities among national broadsheets, key sector media and legal journals
  • Provide PR support for events and thought leadership projects
  • Work in partnership with the global communications and thought leadership teams
  • Provide PR support
  • Support external crisis planning and execution in partnership with the global communications team
  • Manage, plan and implementation of the communications aspects of marketing and business development campaigns
  • Support the firms social media channels by drafting engaging and informative content

Key Skills and Experience

  • At least 4+ years' experience working in a PR/Communications role
  • Must have experience working either in a corporate/professional services environment
  • Can have an agency background
  • Successful track record of leading high impact PR programmes
  • Familiarity with Internal Communications
  • Outstanding writer
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficient in using Twitter and other social media channels
  • Degree qualified
  • Extremely proactive and a go getter mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
