Learning Support Assistant

LSA required for a large and inclusive Secondary School - Immediate or January 2023 start - Ideal post for Graduates looking to gain school experience with the backing of a Multi academy Trust re-known for its' training and development especiallyfor trainee teachers £80- £90 per day

Learning Support Assistants required (3x roles) - Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Contract to permanent post with the opportunity to progression onto Teaching training (depending on qualifications)

Specialist SENCO department - working with a variety of pupils who need 1:1 support. Experience is an advantage however a professional attitude and classroom prescience will also be considered.

All experience levels welcome - full training and support available

The Academy - Learning Support Assistant


Located a short walk (10 minutes) from Stevenage train station this is an inclusive, nonsensitive mixed school with a great reputation for attainment and SEN support.

With 1/6 pupils now in mainstream education requiring additional support you can offera huge amount of support with a consistent and balanced approach.

This is a well run school with a 'Good' Ofsted with an eye on continuous improvement. This is a rewarding role at a supportive and positive school with a solid history of results over the past2 years


The requirements - Learning Support Assistant

  • Youth work, Tuition or SEN experience is an advantage in any primary, secondary or mainstream settings.
  • Experience or exposure or working with pupils with Global Delay, Autism, ADHD and / or PECS
  • The desire to support pupils from a range of backgrounds or with a range of requirements in highly rewarding roles
