Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence and documents through audiotyping and word processing.
  • Administer filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures
  • Providing quotes to potential clients
  • Liaising with clients and third parties.
  • Drafting Contracts and Transfer Deeds
  • Diary management for the fee earner
  • Updating the case management system and portals.
  • Carrying out property searches
  • Carrying out Land Registry searches
  • Dealing with completions
  • Other duties where required.

Conveyancing experience essential

  • IT literate with proficiency in Outlook and Word
  • Typing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise own workload
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as individually, while being proactive and using own initiative
