Consilium are delighted to be supporting Technoset, part of Technogroup, a rapidly growing precision machining business supporting a diverse range of sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Industrial and equipment manufacturing.

They are seekinga Production Supervisor on a Day Shift basis, working a four-day week, Monday to Thursday, 0600 to 1600hrs.

Salary:
£ 25,451 - £ 34,577 p.a. + Excellent Benefits including pension and monthly bonus

The Role

Technoset based in Rugby, Warwickshire is seeking a Production Supervisor on the Day shift, working Monday to Thursday, hrs to ensure effective and safe delivery on the required production orders in a busy machining operation.

The Production Supervisor will lead a small group of CNC Machinists and Technicians to create precision engineered components for a wide customer range working to exacting specifications.

You will ensure that the work is completed in a safely, timely andquality compliant manner and that the working areas and both safe and clean throughout the shift.

The Production Supervisor will organise the flow of work in the production cells to make sure that everything is completed to plan and that the team have the correctresources.

When required the Production Supervisor will happily some of the machining work needed themselves and as such, a precision machining background is highly preferable for the role.

You will use a computerised, business wide, work tracking system and report into the General Manager.

The Person

The Production Supervisor will possess a proven background in leading and motivating a team in a production environment with exacting standards of quality and cleanliness.

You will ensure the team has the material and information they need to do their jobsand provide any support needed to production operations.

The Production Supervisor role is factory-floor based and is hands-on including any loading, setting, and cleaning of work areas and machines to assist then needed.

You will ideally have some level of Management or Leadership certification, have previouslyled a team in a machining environment and have level of understanding of CNC machining.

Programming expertise is not required for the role
