The Acute Response and Rehabilitation in the Community and Hospital (ARCH) have recently secured significant additional resource, which will allow the service to expand the cohort of patients who can be identified to leave hospital sooner with additional short-term support in their home environment reducing the need for inpatient rehabilitation, risk of deconditioning and interim placements


Our ARCH rotation provides the opportunity for successful applicants to rotate between three core areas, to develop competencies that support positive patient outcomes, 7 days a week because every day counts.

The rotations across three key areas include
- virtual beds, community rehabilitation and prevention and hospital in reach. This provides varied opportunities across the hospital base and community and you will get the chance to work in all of the areas.

To deliver rehabilitation services within a multidisciplinary team to inpatients and community patients.

Working closely with other professionals to ensure positive clinical outcomes and effectiveness by providing a co-ordinated service including continuity and quality of care.

To support patient flow from hospital to their own homes by giving appropriate information, advice and education.
