Apprenticeship programme

During this Level 2 Warehousing programme, we will help you to develop your practical skills and knowledge required for you to succeed in this role as well as your future career.

Throughout the 1- month programme, you will continue to develop your behaviourssuch as team working, problem-solving and customer focus. Veolia as a business is not only interested in what you accomplish, but the manner you do it.

As well as gaining a broad range of technical and professional knowledge and experience, you'll also learn how to contribute to the provision of customer service in logistics operations, handle goods within logistics operations, stock management and willgain (H&S) Certificate.

What will you be doing?

Assist the Storeperson in maintaining adequate stock levels of Personal Protective Equipment(PPE), tools and equipment.
Check stock control systems and carry out regular audits.
Maintain good workshop housekeeping at all times.
Ensure purchase orders and requisitions are raised following the correct company procedure.
Participate in the Veolia Emergency Response duty rota system as and when required.
Ensure Health and Safety are adhered to within the IS stores and immediate area.
Check the security of IS buildings, including the security of vehicles parked in the yard overnight.

What are we looking for?

A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include Maths & English
A flexible approach towards work is required which includes the availability for our oncall rota.
Able to communicate at all levels and work unsupervised.
Ability to work well under pressure.
PC Literate and organised.
A full UK driving licence.
