Responsibilities:

Essential selection criteria

  • Active integration into the research focus "Engineering for Health" with the research centres BRICS and PVZ
  • Close cooperation with the local research partners of the TU (HZI, DSMZ, PTB, JKI, TI)
  • Very good command of the English language and willingness to teach in English
  • Willingness to participate in the selfadministration of the university
  • Willingness to participate in the internationalization of the university and in research
  • Experience with successful acquisition willingness to raise thirdparty funds


Individual career decisions and career breaks due to parental/family care leave affecting research output will be taken into account by the appointment committee.

Requirements, - 25 NHG

  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Pedagogical aptitude
  • Special qualification for indepth independent scientific work, as a rule proven by an aboveaverage doctorate
  • Additional academic achievements, usually within the framework of a junior professorship, a postdoctoral degree (Habilitation) or through achievements equivalent to a Habilitation
