Description
Morgan McKinley is working with a lovely company based in Horsham who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support and work as part of their Finance function.
The Accounts Assistant will be supporting the Finance Manager and team with everyday transactional finance such as; invoicing, supplier statements and credit control.
Salary:
£25-30K
Hours: 9-5
Location:
Office based Mon-Thurs in Horsham, West Sussex. Fridays from home
Accounts Assistant duties:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Preparing the monthly payment run for suppliers
- Preparing and issuing Statements of Account for customers
- Handling and following up on any invoice or payment queries
- Assisting with credit control, contacting customers regarding any outstanding debts
- Fixed asset reporting
- Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Record office expenditures and process staff expenses
- Supporting the office and finance team with any other admin duties
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience working in an Accounts / Finance support type role
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Good IT skills
