Description

The post holder will work with the Head of Institute Operations and Partnerships to manage and coordinate the operations of the HCRI Office and to ensure efficient and effective support to the Directors of HCRI and their areas of work.


Based in the Institute's professional services office in the Ellen Wilkinson Building, the post holder will be part of a small team of who provide administrative support to academic staff.


The post holder will be responsible for management and provsions of support services and operations in the areas such as: servicing Institute meetings, communications, finance and travel, HR, customer service support, project coordination (teaching & learning) estates and office resources.


The Institute Administrator will provide professional, confidential, and effective support to enable the Institute to undertake the full range of day-to-day activities efficiently and will manage the Institute's communications.


The post holder is expected to be a proactive self-starter, able to work quickly and efficiently, independently and with others, providing information, resolving problems, and providing creative solutions as required.

They should keep up to date with all aspects of the Institute's activities.

The Institute Administrator has a key outward facing responsibility and is often the first point of contact. The postholder is responsible for managing and routing queries regarding the Institute to relevant people within the University.
