Are you an experienced Grinder with the ability to read technical/mechanical drawings?

Do you have experience with cylindrical, surface, internal and planetary grinding?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Ramsgate for a Grinder to work for one of our clients who is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.

Our client is offering a salary up to £27,000 per annum depending on experience.

As the Grinder your responsibilities would include:

Preparing machines for grinding operations
Grinding, deburring and polishing workpieces to bring them to the desired shape and dimensions
Mounting and dismounting workpieces from the grinding machine
Checking finished pieces
Ensuring grinding wheels are dressed accordingly
Reporting any machine defects
Carrying out maintenance on machines and cutting tools
Other duties as deemed reasonable
