Description

This is an immediate start on going interim Payables Officer role working for a charity based a short walk from Waterloo station.

The successful Payables Officer will work as part of a wider team and will contribute to maintaining the payable and transactionalaccounts.

Day to day duties of the Payable Officer will include;

  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Raising purchase order numbers
  • Setting up payment runs
  • Setting up and completing payment runs
  • Processing payments
  • Assisting with reconciliations of bank and supplier statements


Applicants for the position of Payables Officer must experience in a similar role ideally within a charity or not for organisation.

Knowledge of debits and credits as well as experience of using an accounting software such as Unit 4 is ideal.
