Penguin Recruitment are excited to be working alongside an expanding remediation and waste management consultancy in their search for a Graduate Environmental Engineer.


The successful applicant will join a close-knit specialist team and will work on a wide range of projects across the South West.

This opportunity will help you enhance your knowledge of the remediation sector, provide you with a broad range of skills andexpertise and will provide the perfect opportunity for career growth.


Applicants should be educated to degree level in a suitable field (Environmental Science etc) and have a full driving license.

It would be desirable for applicants to have 1-2 years in remediation or environmental contracting/consulting, or graduate experience.

The main duties of the role will include, but not be limited to

  • Site work including soil logging, sampling and environmental monitoring
  • Supporting ground investigations
  • Ensuring that all work is delivered in line with procedures and processes and to the highest safety, health and environmental standards
  • Meeting clients and suppliers
  • Technical report writing
