BAM UK and Ireland is recruiting an Early Careers Coordinator to join the team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.

This role is a permanent role and involves a mixture of hybrid working from home and /or office with some UK travel as and when required.


Your mission


As the Early Careers Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our wider team with the administration and coordination of Early Careers activities.


  • Administer and coordinate early careers activities and events e.g., apprentice & graduate recruitment and assessment centres, onboarding, and enrolment processes.
  • Accurately maintain all administrative systems to support the scheduling, booking and delivery of early careers activities
  • Ensuring accurate records are kept up to date on early careers activity e.g. certification, DAS system, CITB levy administration.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including dealing with daytoday enquiries managing the early careers mailbox.
  • Complete administration tasks including managing hotel bookings, joining instructions, communicating with participants, liaising with training providers, external suppliers, and processing invoices when required.
  • Coordination of Early Careers event calendar providing admin support for communication and marketing.
  • Participate in adhoc projects, and any other duties to assist the effectiveness of the early careers team.
  • Provide general administrative team support.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in busy and varied administration role.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills,
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Experience of managing, inputting, and creating accurate data.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be a positive, contributing member.
  • Previous experience in using an HR Management Systems (HRMS) or similar systems e.g., success factors would be desirable.
  • Previous experience with recruitment administration/coordination would be desirable.
