Since 2011, WiseUp has been the leading provider of activity days to schools.

Our teams travel the length and breadth of the UK from our base in Kent, bringing our equipment and our fantastic instructors in our unique vehicles directly to schools.

Working with students from Reception to Sixth Form on activities from Team Building to Bushcraft skills, Archery and much more, means that every day is different


We are now looking to expand our team for the 2024 season and require Team Leaders/Lead Instructors to join our friendly and dynamic company.


  • 21 years old minimum (this is for vehicle insurance reasons)
  • Full UK driving license holder (with a maximum of 6 points)
  • Confident driving a minibus sized vehicle (a vehicle is provided for business use)
  • Experience with managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence to deliver presentations and activities to young people of varying ages and provide an enthusiastic, positive presence on an event day.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexible with strong problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds
  • Ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and school supervisors.

What we offer you:


  • Generous financial package £28,000 pro rata. This is inclusive of a £2,000 completion bonus.

  • Quality, overnight hotels paid for by the company for events further away from base.


  • No weekends Monday

  • Friday with very occasional Sunday evening travel.
  • Flexible contract lengths.
  • Full training.
