Orchard Professional Solutions are working with the large independent manufacturer in the UK who are looking to expand their team.


They are looking for a hardworking individual with the right attitude to join their Production team in the role of
FINAL ASSEMBLY AND SPRAY PAINTER. Your role is essential to ensuring as the job title suggests, at the final stage in our processes, the hard work and focus of your Production colleagues in constructing our products, is completed to our exacting standards and those of our customers.


Your key responsibilities will be to ensure that our products are completed through final assembly checks and actions and then prepared and painted to an exacting finish.

You're also responsible for maintaining the equipment and products to do this.


Responsibilities:


  • Worked in a similar engineering or manufacturing environment, meaning you can work to exacting standards and design.
  • Can consistently follow processes to ensure a right every time outcome.
  • Have a high attention to detail, combined with a passion for tidiness in your work area
  • Make positive teamwork contributions to deliver continuous improvement and meet demanding targets.


Previous experience in these responsibilities would be advantageous, but we are also interested in people who are keen to learn and want to contribute to a growing company, as full training will be provided.


Core Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team on either an early or later shift to complete the following tasks:
Assist in final assembly of product.

To include but not be limited to the following:


  • Gluing parts.
  • Leak checking
  • Component Masking and filter preparation for painting.

Requirements:


  • Correct, efficient use of painting equipment to complete required painting tasks.
  • Correct maintenance and storage of assigned equipment for painting tasks
  • Correct, efficient use of painting equipment to complete required painting tasks.

Experience:

Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)

  • Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
