Liverpool Women's is one of only two specialist Foundation Trusts in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women, babies and their familiesWe are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sonographer to join our busy, friendly and supportive team in the Imaging Department
A Recruitment and Retention Premium (RRP) of £4,500 (pro rata) will be paid to new and existing Sonographers. This will be reviewed annually.
You will need to be able to work independently demonstrating a high level of competence and you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
We are also actively involved in the ultrasound training of student Sonographers and clinicians from a multi-professional background (both medically and non-medically qualified staff).

Performance of ultrasound examinations. Examinations may include obstetric, gynaecological and general examinations.
Generation of quality ultrasound reports
Supervision and teaching of ultrasound students.
Liaising with other departments and professionals within the Trust.
Participation in the BMUS recommended Peer audit review process.
Work as an advanced practitioner, demonstrating a proactive and dynamic approach to all tasks undertaken.
