Job Overview


To provide effective and efficient Administration for the Helpdesk Service to ensure advice, assistance and resources are made available to meet the contractual obligations.


You will be required to work 37 1⁄2 hours per week (Monday-Friday) (between the hours of 07:00-19:00) to meet core service hours, with flexibility to meet the needs of the business when required.


Main Duties

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Visitor management, ensuring access to site within service level agreements
  • Use of Resource Scheduler & Concept IT systems
  • Be motivated to continually meet and exceed customer expectations and be able to deal with multiple tasks at once in a very dynamic environment
  • To actively work to ensure service failures and deductions are mitigated where possible
  • Advise Facilities Management of any compliments or complaints that arise, identifying the detail so they can be dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Actively promote a safe working environment and adhere to the Health and Safety policies, procedures, and the law.
  • Adhere to data protection
  • Undertake tasks as determined by Facilities Management, including emerging requirements as the business evolves. This could include cover/support for Mitie personnel in other administrative areas
  • Multiskilled being able to train across departments to ensure that the support services team meet all deliverables
