Pertemps Aylesbury are working with a equipment supplier in Leighton Buzzard who are looking to recruit a Depot Manager to join their busy team.

As part of the Management team of the Company, the role has full responsibility for the development of strategies for the long-term profitable growth of the Parts and Service business.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with customers
  • Feedback any important customer information to the relevant department
  • Present a professional image and always portray a polite and courteous manner
  • Answer all incoming calls efficiently and confidently, whilst solving any issues
  • To implement business improvements which deliver service revenues and profitability
  • Responsible for health, safety & environmental standards within the parts, service, and engineering departments
  • To provide guidance on all parts, service and engineering issues
  • To lead a team of professionals to work efficiently and ensure all training is up to date.
  • To generate business plans and forecasts, along with analysis of results and special investigations
  • Strictly adhere to company credit control procedures
  • Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy

Skills/Experience:


  • Proven record of working within a customer sales/service environment
  • Possess excellent leadership skills
  • Honest, reliable, trustworthy, good timekeeping.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels verbally, in print and on the phone
  • Possess excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well as part of the team as well as taking your own initiative
  • Be professional, cheerful, cooperative, and flexible at all times.
  • Have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office Software, ADP Computer System and PDA systems
  • Be able to delegate responsibilities and be able to supervise and work with teams
  • Understanding blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
