We are seeking a Lead Material Planner to work on-site for one of our luxurious automotive manufacturing clients. Initially, this contract is until the end of June 2024 however, there is a strong potential of contract extension.

Main Responsibilities:

Collaboratively work alongside supplier senior management, purchasing, quality and engineering to improve supplier performance.
Work with suppliers to manage parts delivery against the supplier demand and resolve issues.
Lead activities to improve supplier performance.
Identify and resolve parts supply issues to minimise any impact to production.
Leading activities as required with cross functional teams to ensure supply continuity.
Proactively lead discussions to predict any potential issues that may impact future production.

Do you have the below experience / skills?:

Established Material Planning experience.
Supplier development and management experience.
Be able to use full Microsoft Package.
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Automotive knowledge is desired, but not essential.
Positive, 'can do' approach.

£ £22.00 per hour; inside IR35
