Full-Time Qualified Year 1 Teacher in Greenwich

We are a vibrant 3 form entry primary school in Greenwich, seeking a full-time qualified primary teacher to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated primary teacher with a passion for education to join a supportiveand friendly school community.

Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging and meaningful lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Managing challenging behavior and promoting positive behavior management strategies
Participating in parentteacher meetings and other school events
Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
A proven track record of outstanding teaching in a primary school setting
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to differentiate to meet the needs of all students
Ability to manage challenging behavior in the classroom

Working Hours:

Fulltime, approximately 35 hours per week

Currently studying Biochemistry at Kings College
Has worked as English Tutor at an Orphanage for 2 years in China
Other experience includes working with Primary and Secondary aged children running Karate sessions
OSPC required.
Based in Peckham
