Evolito was spun out of YASA Limited to exclusively industrialise the next-generation electric motor technology and IP for the rapidly-growing aerospace market.

By accelerating the adoption of electric propulsion, we will help revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free electric air transportation.

As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Head of Supply Chain to join the team to develop the overall Evolito procurement and purchasing strategy, including leading and developing a team of Supply Chain professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:_
Developing and evolving a strategic supply chain supporting each of Evolito's product family roadmaps
Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure a high quality, reliable source of supplies, services and information
Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring that the team are aware of the policies and their individual responsibilities and accountabilities
Ensuring that supplier bids and contracts are negotiated in an efficient and ethical manner
Working with the Engineering, Operations and Quality Teams to deliver equipment from suppliers that meets our specification, quality, schedule and cost requirements
Supporting in the MPS and MRP process as a key stakeholder, taking responsibility for supplier delivery performance adherence
Providing monthly and quarterly reports on cost and schedule performance in line with Evolito targets
Leading on cost by actively pursuing cost reduction or cost avoidance activity, often requiring multi stakeholder buyin
Supporting investigations and resolving claims for delay, poor quality or performance.
Skills and experience required:_
Previous proven experience building and leading a high performing team of Supply Chain professionals
Experience of direct procurement in similar complex environments such as automotive, aerospace, energy infrastructure, rail etc.
Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management processes, and principles of supply chain
Detailed understanding of Lifecycle Management and Business Management Systems
Good commercial acumen and experience of writing and negotiating contracts with suppliers
Experience managing complex contracts in a delivery phase
Experienced with risk management
Instinctive problemsolving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach
Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines
Ability to communicate at all levels
Excellent collaboration and team working skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A flexible approach to work
UK driving license and ability to travel.
