Job Description of a CAPEX Project Manager

Develop and maintain the site 5 year CAPEX plan
Preparation of highlevel CAPEX estimates and timelines
Develop detailed project plans detailing the design, procurement, installation and commissioning phases of a project
Compliance with CDM regulations
Management, guidance and support of the site Project Engineers (permanent and contract)
Carry out feasibility studies for NPI's or revised processes to determine cost and time involved
Develop detailed CAPEX costings should speculative RFQ's become firm businesses

S
kills Required of a CAPEX Project Manager

You will have previous proven experience of delivering multimillion pound CAPEX Projects
Ideally, you will have a Pharma, Chemical, Food or Oil & Gas background but must have worked within Hazardous environments and have an appreciation for Health & Safety in these areas
HND minimum within Engineering
Ideally, you will have a Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM.
Ideally, you will have had previous line management experience but this isn't essential and this would make a great opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step into management
