The company
One of the largest Data Centre owner / operators in the world. With a strong presence across EMEA and with recent growth specifically across Western and Central Europe. The company are currently in the process of growing and building a new pre-constructionteam.
The role:
We are seeking a senior construction leader accountable for the safe delivery of Data Centre projects across EMEA based in Frankfurt.
The Senior Campus Construction Project Manager will be accountable for managing a team of internal and external stakeholdersto deliver large Hyperscale Data Centre and Retail Data Centre and Infrastructure projects on site.
The position requires a self-motivated and senior construction leader.Your responsibilities:
- Coach, measure and manage professional services and General/Sub-Contractor teams to ensure consistency in delivery against these standards.
- Govern, measure and if required correct project performance against key performance indicators and commitments across Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost targets.
- Drive close stakeholder alignment with the Commercial, Operations and Commissioning Teams.
- Perform general Construction management tasks, including but not limited to Project, Cost and change management meetings, controls and reporting.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of project status to the Senior Regional Construction Program Manager and wider business
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that arise during the course of the projects.
- Collaborate with your peers across EMEA to continually assess, align on and improve our delivery methodology.
Could this be for you?
- Have experience in a site based management role within the construction industry, overseeing a portfolio of concurrent capex projects
- Have extensive experience in the planning and delivery of large capex projects
- Demonstrate Data Centre construction experience
- Proficient in the use of project and commercial management tools and processes
- Have experience in presenting to senior leadership both internally and externally
- Have experience in managing and developing direct and vendor teams
- Business fluent in German and English language is essential
