Our Business Quality Control Team make effective decisions regarding how we manage adviser risk exposure across both our Protection and Pensions products, to monitor our business and ensure it is commercially viable.
As a Business Quality Consultant you will have accountability for the due diligence of adviser firms who are transacting with Royal London, or would like to establish an agency with Royal London.
You will review the firm's financial viability, their business model and their quality processes to ensure it is appropriate for us to transact with them and that there is no detriment to our customers.
As this is a newly formed team, you will have the opportunity to help shape and implement our processes and frameworks.
Establish and embed a due diligence framework covering both the financial and commercial risk, as well as the risk of customer detriment
Carry out the due diligence reviews on selected agencies
Report findings from the reviews, and present findings of each firm and the risk levels they pose at Business Quality Forums
Recommend corrective actions for an adviser firm
Support the Head of Business Quality in preparing for monthly Business Quality Forums as required
About you
Good knowledge of the protection and pensions market
Understanding of the compliance framework required for an advised business
Ability to analyse and interpret a firm's financial and business model
Comfortable with a business life cycle and being able to review a firm's financial statements or business plans
Self motivated and organised with an ability manage stakeholder expectations
