Foster Caring for a child is one of the most rewarding Careers you can undertake and although it can be challenging it can also be rewarding.

The basic requirements of a foster carer are as follows:

Have 1 or more spare bedrooms suitable for a child to be comfortable to be in

- everyone in your household needs to pass a DBS check
- are a UK citizen or have indefinite right to remain in UK
- be in generally good health
- be minimum of 21yrs old

There are many
misconceptions about fostering such as:

you cannot foster unless you own your own home
