Denstone College wish to provide an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance, Payroll & Pensions Assistant to join our small and supportive Bursary team.

You will work under the direction of the Finance Manager, with overall responsibility for allareas relating to payroll and pensions, ensuring that the College remains up to date with current legislation and best practice.

Finance, Payroll &

Pensions Assistant Requirements::

  • CIPP Payroll qualification, IAB Diploma in Payroll or equivalent payroll/accounting qualification
  • Experience of payroll administration
  • Experience of providing payroll advice to employees and managers
  • Experience of payroll within an education setting is advantageous
  • Experience of liaising with external pension and payroll providers
  • Accurate knowledge of employment law in relation to payroll pension processing and payroll best practice
  • General finance awareness
  • Excellent ICT skills and the ability to utilise a number of packages to include Excel
  • Understanding of UK tax, salary and payroll laws and regulations

Full Time, 37.5 per week

Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience
