Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment agency) are delighted to be recruiting for 3.5t Drivers to join a growing business in Leeds on a full time, permanent basis.

In this role you will be working as part of a small driving team who deliver the company's products nationally.

You will be a vital member of the team as you will be a major part in ensuring the continuous growth of this company.

You would be working Monday to Friday but should be flexible to work between 6am-6pm.

Key responsibilities include:

Working out of premises based just outside Leeds City Centre
Driving a 3.5t Flatbed making between 612 drops per day on average
Efficient driving and time management to ensure delivery schedules are maintained.
Completing delivery paperwork
Daily inspection of vehicles
Load the vehicle with the assistance of the warehouse team.
Additional warehouse duties will be expected to be undertaken. This will include picking, packing and other generalist warehouse tasks

Key Requirements

Valid driving licence, points will be considered.
Selfmotivated, confident when dealing with customers.
Manual handling is required therefore you will need to be physically fit
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to use ratchet straps is essential.

Good communication & organisational skills.
Be able to multitask, prioritise and manage own work load whilst turning challenges into opportunities
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
Good geographical knowledge.
